SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

THE ENGLISH ACADEMY WASHINGTON  (ACADEMIA DE INGLES WASHINGTON) was founded in 2005 by Saul Robles.The newest school in Bucerias Nayarit, Mexico opened in August 2014.  Since 2005 hundreds of students have graduated as Technico Profesional en Idioma Inglés. The school in Bucerias will celebrate its second graduation in January 2016. Presently we have approximately 50 students ages 14-50 enrolled in our first and second year programs.

 The main purpose of the Academy is not to make money but to teach English. We implemented a Sponsorship Program to help low income students study English. Lack of money is the first reason many people cannot study English. We offer a two year career program including six different subjects: grammar, listening and reading comprehension, reading, writing and translating. The students use books, cd´s, workbooks, and test under the supervision of myself, a certified bilingual professional teacher and official government translator. At the end of two year program a diploma is given to students to assist them to get better jobs and to become English teachers. The WASHINGTON Academy has helped dozens of students by providing scholarships ( 50% off of monthly tuition ) to all students with a GPA of  “10”  in their Middle/high school Diploma.

---  THESE ARE THE COSTS :monthly  tuition 800 pesos or $75.00 CAD. Student workbooks are 700 pesos or $65.00 CAD approx. per semester (2 SEMESTERS PER YEAR).

---  How can you be a sponsor? 

By donating a minimum of 50 pesos and up. Ypu will have a chance to meet the student you sponsor or write to them via email. ( only if you want to). Your name will also  be included in the 2016 SPONSORS list. Indicate English Academy Washington on your donation and 100 percent of your donation goes to the school.
